Man Killed Crossing Street In Brooklyn Hit-And-Run: Police

BROOKLYN, NY — A man who was crossing the street was killed by a box truck in Brooklyn Friday morning, police said.
The man was struck as he was walking on Wyckoff Avenue and Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick around 10 a.m., police said.
The victim was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the box truck fled the scene, police said.
The identity of the victim has been not been released pending family notification. The man is believed to be 60-years-old, according to a News12 Brooklyn report.
