Man Shot In Front Of Brooklyn Restaurant Is Now Brain Dead: Report
The victim was shot just one day before his birthday.

BROOKLYN, NY — A Brooklyn restaurant worker shot in the head while on the job this week has been pronounced brain dead, according to a report from the New York Daily News.
While locking up the restaurant for the night, Frankley Duran, 36, was shot in the back of his head at 12:09 a.m. on Dec. 2, in front of a restaurant called Room 1Hundred, right near Broadway Junction at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and Jamaica Avenue, police said.
A fight broke out at the restaurant an hour earlier, and Duran was shot in the crossfire during a drive-by shooting, the report said.

Duran is at One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
According to the report, Duran was shot just one day before his birthday.

There are no arrests yet and the investigation is underway, police said.
Room 1Hundred has not yet responded to a request for comment.
