Man Struck In The Face With Scooter In Brooklyn Attack: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A 77-year-old man was struck in the face with a metal scooter in an apparent unprovoked attack in Brooklyn, police said.

On June 3, an unidentified man struck the victim in the face with a metal scooter in front of 25 Melrose Street, police said.

The victim, who suffered injuries, was transported to Interfaith Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, police said.
