Man Who Threatened To Jump Off BK Bridge Sent To Bellevue: NYPD
The 38-year-old was safely removed from the bridge with no injuries, according to an NYPD spokesman.

BROOKLYN — A man who threatened to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge has been sent to Bellevue Hospital, police told Patch.
Police say the man was not hurt, but weren’t able to confirm if the man was suffering from any specific mental health issue.
The incident occurred at 5 a.m., according to an NYPD spokesman.

“He was standing on the edge of the Brooklyn bound roadway over the FDR on the Manhattan side threatening to jump,” said the spokesman. “They were able to safely get him off of there.”
The spokesman was not able to say how long it took officers and other emergency personnel to get the man off the bridge.
