Nationwide Comcast Outage Affecting Brooklyn Businesses
Comcast outages reported Tuesday seem to be concentrated in the Northeast, parts of California and Florida and the Pacific Northwest.
BROOKLYN, NY — Thousands of Comcast's business clients across the country, including some in Brooklyn, reported experiencing outages to their phone service service Tuesday afternoon.
The same map showed Comcast received at least 21 outage complaints from businesses in Brooklyn within a matter of minutes around 4 p.m. Tuesday. By 5 p.m., however, the surge in complaints had begun to die down.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the afternoon blackouts.

Businesses who reported the outage to Comcast via Twitter got this reply from customer service Tuesday afternoon: "Sorry for any frustration, we are currently working to resolve this issue. No estimated time of repair yet."
