NYC Jobs: 200-Plus Openings at Chipotles in Brooklyn and Manhattan

Up to 90 positions need to be filled at 3 new Chipotle locations in Brooklyn. That's in addition to over 120 job openings around the city.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Three new Chipotle outposts will be opening in Brooklyn by the end of the year. And perhaps not surprisingly, they need some humans to staff them.

Each of the three new locations — one in Williamsburg, opening in late September; one on the Prospect Heights/Park Slope border, also opening in late September; and one in Flatbush, opening in late December — will be hiring 25 to 30 crew members, according to a Chipotle spokeswoman.

An online application portal has already been posted to Chipotle's website for positions at its new Williamsburg location. Click here to apply.

Job applications are not yet being accepted for the Prospect Heights/Park Slope and Flatbush locations. That'll change soon, though, so keep an eye on the company's cache of NYC jobs.

In addition to the 90 or so positions opening up at Chipotle's three newest locations in Brooklyn, more than 120 positions are currently available at existing locations across the city. You can browse all of them here.

There are a bunch of entry-level jobs on the list, which start at a painful $28,000 per year. (And in practice much less than that, according to an investigation conducted last year by Fast Company.)

Tasks for entry-level crew members include washing dishes, manning the cashier, serving, hosting, bartending, cooking and prepping food.
