NYPD Searching For Escaped Brooklyn Prisoner
Layquan Johnson gave guards the slip Tuesday after showing them "false information," according to the NYPD.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a prisoner (pictured above) who escaped from Kings County Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Layquan Johnson, 22, was arrested last December for a non-fatal shooting, according to the NYPD.
On the night of May 3, he was mistakenly released from the Court, located at 320 Jay St. near Johnson Street, after providing "false information" to guards with the Department of Corrections (DOC), police said.
