Officers Save Man Who Fell Onto Subway Tracks In Brooklyn: VIDEO

Police shared footage of the officers pulling the man, who had experienced a medical episode, back onto the platform as a train approached.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two New York City police officers acted quickly to save a man who fell onto the subway tracks in Brooklyn over the weekend, and their body cameras captured the rescue.

Police said the man suffered a medical episode and fell on the tracks at the Lafayette Avenue station on Saturday. Video posted to social media shows the pair of NYPD officers running to the scene.

The man's hands were bloodied, and he seemed disoriented as the officer prompted him to take his hand and get off the tracks.

"Give me your hand, quick!" the officer urged. "Train! Give me your hand! Come on!"

Police said that paramedics took the 36-year-old man to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
