Police Identify Man Killed In NYC Triple Shooting

The shooting happened this past Sunday inside a building on Atlantic Avenue and Miller Avenue.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police have identified a 45-year-old man who was fatally shot in a triple shooting inside a Brooklyn apartment building this past Sunday.

The victim has been identified as John Terrell, of Virginia, police announced on Wednesday.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. inside a building on Atlantic Avenue and Miller Avenue.

Officers found a 65-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, and a 60-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen, police said. Both men were transported to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.

Terrell sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
