Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Atlantic Terminal Mall, Police Investigating

BROOKLYN, NYC — A man was fatally stabbed outside Brooklyn's Barclays Center over the weekend after being attacked by a group, police said.
Michael Hernandez, 27, was walking near Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues on Friday evening when he was allegedly ambushed and stabbed around 9 p.m., police said.
Police said Hernandez, who was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen, was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police told News12 Brooklyn that a large group had gathered in the area prior to the stabbing, and that several people fled the scene immediately following the attack.
As of early Monday morning, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, NYPD officials said.
