Student Slashed In The Face Outside Brooklyn Middle School: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A 13-year-old student was slashed in the face outside a Brooklyn middle school Friday morning, police said.

The teen was attacked with a knife outside M.S. 2 — Parkside Preparatory Academy, on Parkside Avenue between Rogers and Nostrand Avenues, around 7:50 a.m. Friday, police said.

Medics rushed the teen to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition, an NYPD spokesperson said.

A fellow student was detained on Friday morning in connection with the slashing, CBS News said.

No official arrests have been announced and the investigation remains ongoing.
