Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Man In Brooklyn, NYPD Says

BROOKLYN, NY — A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly fatally stabbed a 52-year-old man near a Brooklyn playground Sunday morning.

Nelson Reyes faces second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges, police announced.

The incident happened in front of 159 Troutman Street, which is across the street from Fermi Playground, around 10 a.m., police said.

The victim was found with a stab wound to the torso. The man was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
