Teen, 2 Others Injured In Separate Brooklyn Shootings: Police

BROOKLYN, NY — A 15-year-old boy and two other people were left injured after separate shootings in Brooklyn Tuesday night.

The first incident happened in the vicinity of Chauncey Street around 7 p.m., police said.

Officers who responded to the scene found the boy with a gunshot wound to the ankle.

The victim was transported to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. A 32-year-old woman was later discovered to have suffered a graze wound in the shooting.

The second incident happened more than two hours later, according to police.

A 28-year-old man was shot in the foot inside a deli at 1742 Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville around 9:20 p.m.

He was transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police are still searching for the suspects in both incidents, no arrests have been made.

Two investigations remain ongoing, police said.
