This Weekend: 4, A and C Train Service Disruptions Between Brooklyn and Manhattan

The service changes are due to ongoing recovery work from Hurricane Sandy.

BROOKLYN, NY — The 4 train won't run this weekend between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The service interruption lasts from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The N, R, 2 and 3 trains will run between the boroughs.

According to the MTA, 4 train service between Manhattan and Brooklyn will also be interrupted during six upcoming weekends:

  • May 27 – 30
  • June 3 – 6
  • June 17 – 20
  • June 24 – 27
  • July 15 – 18
  • July 22 – 25

Additionally this weekend, A and C trains will run on the F track in both directions between W 4th Street and Jay Street-MetroTech.

The service change lasts from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

According to the MTA, the same service change will also take place during four upcoming weekends:

  • Jun 3 – 6
  • Jun 10 - 13
  • Jun 17 – 20
  • Jun 24 – 27
