New York, New York — A Look Back at 15 Years of Service and Accomplishment! The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC)—the largest African American Chamber in New York State reflects proudly on more than 15 years of driving economic empowerment, increasing market access, and strengthening the small-business ecosystem in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Kings Counties. As the Chamber continues its statewide expansion and economic advancement initiatives, we take a moment to highlight just a few of the Chamber’s transformative milestones.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE LAST 15 YEARS

• Largest African American Chamber in NYS LIAACC has grown into the largest African American Chamber of Commerce in New York State.

• National Recognition Finalist for National Chamber of the Year by the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC).

• USBC Spoke of the Month Recipient: Recognized nationally for organizational leadership and impact.

• Strengthening Business Growth & Access: Delivered workshops, procurement access efforts, networking, entrepreneurial training, and mentorship.

• Policy & Advocacy Leadership: Advocated on behalf of African American-owned enterprises at local, state, and national levels.

• Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Month Leadership: Expanded programming to increase awareness and connection to resources.

• Partnership & Ecosystem Building: Facilitated partnership growth with agencies, organizations, and corporations to increase business resources.

• Community Outreach & Visibility: Promoted Buy-Black, business spotlights, and economic empowerment visibility campaigns.

• Foundation Development: Supported the growth of the African American Small Business Foundation, Inc. to enhance training access.
