New York, New York - New York State’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce LIAACC Adds significant value to Small Businesses in New York. Since the inception of its founding in 2010 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. has added tremendous small to small businesses in New York State, and is now a nationally acclaimed chamber of commerce.

In 2025 the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. placed in the top 7 as a finalist for the United States Black Chambers, Inc. competition for chamber of the year at its national conference in Washington, DC.

“To be selected as a finalist for the United States Black Chambers, Inc. most prestigious honor inspires our chamber to continue to work to support the growth of small business owners in our service territory, and fortifies our commitment to continue to be a beacon of light for small business owners.

Our goal at the chamber remains to be committed to our national affiliate six pillars of service which are advocacy, access to capital, access to contracting, entrepreneurial training, Chamber development, and information and technology. The African American Small Business Foundation, Inc. proudly presents the 2nd Annual Networking Soirée, in partnership with the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. and the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC). This year’s celebration will be held at Fogo De Chão, located in Carle Place, New York, and will highlight the 2025 theme: “The Power of Partnership.”

The Networking Soirée brings together business leaders, community advocates, and professionals from across Long Island and New York City for an evening of collaboration, connection, and celebration of economic empowerment. Guests will enjoy 2hrs of appetizers along with an elegant experience, live networking opportunities, and highlights of ongoing initiatives that strengthen the small business ecosystem across the region.

· Networking Events: Regular networking meetings, luncheons, and social mixers (such as the Annual Networking Soirée/Holiday Fundraiser and Red-Carpet Affairs) designed to connect business professionals and community leaders.

· Workshops and Seminars: Educational sessions covering vital business topics. Past examples include workshops on "Access to Capital & Implementing AI into Your Business," "Navigating Supplier Diversity," and "Scaling Up Your Business: Marketing & CRM".

· Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week/Month Celebrations: LIAACC founded and annually hosts events for MED Week (which was proclaimed MED Month starting in 2025 in the region), which are multi-day celebrations including forums, panels, and networking opportunities to empower minority businesses.

· Conferences and Expos: The chamber organizes larger scale events such as the "National Power Networking Business Series Forum, Conference and Expo" to provide comprehensive training, networking, and business-to-business opportunities.

· Awards and Celebrations: Events like the "Top 50 Women in Business Award" celebration and "Small Business Person of the Year and Legislative Breakfast" recognize outstanding achievements within the business community.

· Community and Special Events: LIAACC partners with other organizations for community initiatives like toy drives for Hurricane Sandy victims, Black History Month programs, and has hosted Annual Signature events such as the Black History Art Exhibitions and Black Expos.
