5 Things: Brunch, Mini Golf for Sandy Relief and Prizes at the Greenmarket

1. Head to brunch. I mean, have you seen the menu at Dassara Brooklyn Ramen? Serving brunch on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., their menu includes such soul-warming dishes as "Bacon & Egg Noodle Ramen" and "Korean Stuffed Pancakes with maple syrup, apple butter and sriracha." When in Ram(en).Â
2. Golf and give back. This Saturday, Brooklyn Crab invites visitors to participate in winter mini golf tournament to benefit Restore Red Hook. All entrance fees will be donated toward the needs of the community post Sandy. $10 entrance fee per team; two persons per team. Participation entitles players to one free beer or non-alcoholic beverage, plus a free gift.Â

3. Load up on healthy goodies. Head to the Carroll Gardens Greenmarket this weekend to make good on your New Year's resolution to eat healthy. From 8 a.m.-4 p.m., fresh seafood, cheese, orchard fruit, baked goods, a variety of sustainably raised meat, and dairy products are available as well as cut flowers.Â
4. Find out if your train is running. There are some planned services changes to local lines; Coney Island-bound Q trains run express between Prospect Park and Sheepshead Bay between 9:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. every Wed-Fri. until Feb. Also, Manhattan-bound Q trains will run through the tunnel to Manhattan between midnight and 5 a.m. all week, according to the MTA.Â

5. Move the car. Sorry folks, alternate side won't be suspended again until Monday, Jan. 21 for MLK day, according to the NYCDOT.Â
