1. Get sprung. Come to Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for Music Adventures Spring Festival. Lead teacher Brian Barrentine will conduct interactive two-hour sessions featuring singing, instruments, movement, art and snacks for kids. They’ll be jamming, crafting and cooking around the world with a different music garden destination each day! Each day runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., $195.
2. Get weird. Stop by Branded Saloon for Terry Dame's Weird Wednesdays, where Dame will be trying out some new musical experiments involving a stethoscope, Altoids boxes and a slightly out of control antique horn midi controller! This month's edition will also feature sets by instrument builder musicians Isaac Zal and Ken Butler.
3. Get intergalactic. Take a trip to outer space during the Astrophotography Photo Exhibition - The Universe in Color at Grumpy Bert, 82 Bond St. This solo exhibition with renowned Astrophotographer Robert Gendler titled, The Universe in Color, will be on display featuring true color portraits of distant galaxies, nebulae, star systems and other wonders of the universe located many thousands or millions of light years away.

4. Get political. District Leader Renee Collymore will host City Comptroller and Mayoral Candidate John Liu as the guest speaker at the Parliament Democratic Club, 444 Clinton Ave. at 7 p.m.
5. Get settled. The DOT has suspended alternate side parking rules through March 29.
