A Fung Wah storage facility is up the block. But once you step inside and peer into those giant tanks filled with lobsters fresh from Maine, well, life in the city can feel pretty far away.

Sure, to say the lobster rolls are overpriced would be an understatement, but to eat one is to have an experience. You don't need to leave town to feel like you are!

Plus, the ingredients, and presentation, are top notch. The JJ Nissen bun, a New England tradition, is piled high with huge chunks of delicious lobster. The scallions are chopped very thinly, and on an angle. You even get your roll served in a red and white checkered paper wrapper. The aesthetic is spot on.

You can eat the delightful treat next door to the pound, or if you can restrain yourself, head to Valentino Pier just a few blocks away. It's a beautiful spot right on the harbor.
