On the evening of the Oscar's telecast, Sunday, Feb. 24, 15-year-strong nonprofit Girls Write Now—which pairs at-risk teenage girls with female mentors who are professional writers—will host their annual Oscar Night Benefit at PJ Hanley's in Carroll Gardens.

The details:
- Tickets are $25 (purchased in advance) Cost includes a drink, light snacks, and a view of the Academy Awards broadcast on multiple TVs around the bar.
