Armed Robbers Hit Boerum Hill, Fort Greene Streets In One Night

BROOKLYN, NY — A trio of armed robbers struck twice in Brooklyn in one night, first in Boerum Hill then in Fort Greene, police say.
On the night of Aug. 29, just before midnight, they walked up behind a 30-year-old man who was standing on the corner of Pacific Street and Hoy Street and tugged on his backpack, according to police.
One of the men pulled out a gun demanding property, and the victim handed over his iPhone, Beats headphones, $20 in cash and credit cards, police said. Then the men ran away.

They resurfaced about an hour later, on Washington Park between Willoughby and DeKalb avenues, police said. There, they walked up to a 20-year-old man, and one of them pulled out a gun, police said.

The victim gave them his iPhone and some debit and credit cards, according to police.
