'Big Brooklyn Style' Continues Media Blitz

It's been two weeks since , a new makeover series centered on Carroll Gardens' plus-sized boutique . But in that short time on air, owners Lisa and Jim Dolan have quickly grown an enormous following of both civilian and celebrity viewers—a buzz that shows no signs of stopping any time soon.

On Tuesday, June 12, Dolan will appear on The Wendy Williams Show (FOX, 10:00 a.m.) to chat about Big Brooklyn Style, the store and and provide makeovers to two women. And a recent interview with Michel Martin on NPR will be airing twice on the popular radio program. 

Those interested in shopping Lee Lee's Valise from beyond the best borough—some of whom contacted Carroll Gardens Patch asking for help—you can rest easy as well. The new Lee Lee's Valise site is finally back in business.

"We had to purchase a dedicated server for our website," Dolan told Patch late on Monday. "It couldn’t handle the traffic. And my email is down…"

But despite a few technological hiccups, Dolan said the response to since the premiere has been simply a blast.

"I haven’t stopped running around," she said. "It’s crazy but all good!"

Big Brooklyn Style appears on TLC, Tuesday afternoons at 3:00 p.m.
