Boerum Hill Singing Chef Bringing 'Chocabaret' to NYC

Boerum Hill's Jackie Gordon loves tasting chocolate and singing songs. So, why not combine her two passions?

That's exactly what Gordon has done in her new show, 'Chocabaret: Where An Artisan Chocolate Tasting Meets A Cabaret Show.' Debuting on Oct. 20 in the Metropolitan Room on West 22nd Street in Manhattan, Gordon sings through a tasting of locally made bon-bons and bean-to-bar chocolates for those in attendance. 

 “Tasting chocolate and listening to music are both emotional, multi-sensory experiences,” Gordon said in a release.  “By doing them together, the audience experiences both on a deeper level.” 

Gordon believes that connecting a chocolate to a tune makes it easier for the audience to remember the flavors. Gordon, who also owns Divalicious Chocolate Events, will make a signature chocolate for the show.
