Celebrate New Year's Eve in Carroll Gardens, Red Hook

There are plenty of great ways to ring in the new year here in Carroll Gardens, Red Hook and the surrounding area. Here is a list of what a few local restaurants and bars are planning.

Shelsky's Smoked Fish (251 Smith St.)
Shelsky's is offering a wide array of farmed and wild caviars with prices varying. A Tzar's Cut Balik salmon for "the ultimate salmon experience" is also available.

Marco Polo Ristorante (345 Court St.), $125 adult, $65 kids

A full party in the private upstairs dining room will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and includes: Hors d'oeuvres, a four course dinner, all night open bar, midnight champagne toast and live DJ. Check their website for menu.

Brooklyn Crab (24 Reed St.), $55-75

Celebrate New Year's Eve at Brooklyn Crab with a Seafood Feast or Classic Prix Fixe Menu. Enjoy an a la carte raw bar.  At midnight welcome the New Year with a toast in the main bar. There will be a free shuttle bus transporting people from the 2nd place entrance of the Carroll Street F train, and back again, from 6 p.m. to midnight. Grindhaus (275 Van Brunt St.), $65

Seatings take place at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. See menu attached.

Grand Army Plaza

Start the celebrations off around 11 p.m. with entertainment and hot refreshments. View fireworks anywhere in Grand Army Plaza, inside the Park on the West Drive and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.
