Don't Just Recycle, Upcycle at Prospect Park

Get rid of your old, outdated electronics safely while supporting city parks.

Been waiting for a chance to get rid of your outdated electronics? Bring them Upcycle Fest at Prospect Park Oct. 27 and 28 and drop them into designated trucks where they will find a new life after being Upcycled.

Upcycling decreases the negative global impact that throwing out these electronic devices has on the environment and also supports City Parks Foundation and Prospect Park Alliance.

"Every New Yorker I know has old cell phones and electronics that they don't know how to dispose of," Alison Tocci, President of City Parks Foundation, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to be able to offer a safe and environmentally friendly option for people to recycle these items at no cost and by doing so support the work City Parks Foundation does throughout the five boroughs."
