Driver Unharmed After Flipping SUV on Third Place
The same could not be said for the car, said a responding officer

A driver of a large SUV overturned her car along Third Place close to midnight on Sunday—but she doesn't know how, according to police.
At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Monday, June 4, police officers at the 76 Precinct received a call that an auto was overturned on Third Place between Court and Clinton Streets.
Upon responding to the scene, an officer told Carroll Gardens Patch that he was shocked to see a large Jeep SUV turned onto its side. The driver, however, had emerged from the vehicle unharmed, save for a cut on her arm.

Officers from the adminstered a breathalyzer test, questioning the driver multiple times to determine whether she had been driving under the influence, said police.
She said she was not, police told us, nor did she suffer from any medical illnesses. The woman told officers that she couldn't recall what made the car turn over. She'd apparently been returning from an AA meeting, they said.

An Emergency Service Unit was called to the scene to right the car, which was then towed away. Police also ran the plates of parked cars that had been damaged in the accident. Their owners were woken and called to the site of the accident to file paperwork.
The driver was then taken to  for examination, a responding officer said. She was determined to be in stable condition and sustained only very minor injuries, according to police.
