Free Jazz Concert Wednesday Night at Brooklyn Commons in Boerum Hill
The concert is sponsored by the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium.

BOERUM HILL, BROOKLYN — The Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium is hosting a free jazz concert Wednesday night in Boerum hill.
The second annual "Jazz For Unity" festival will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Brooklyn Commons, located at 388 Atlantic Ave.
Here's the set schedule, courtesy of The Brooklyn Commons:
- 6 p.m. - Buyu Ambroise and The Blues In Red Band
- 7 p.m. - Dr. Mambo and Caribbean Jazz
- 8 p.m. - Sid Whelan and Whelan American Blues
- 9 p.m. - Jeff King and The Art of the Sextet (Straight Ahead Jazz)
The Consortium, founded in 1999, describes itself as an "organization of venues and individuals committed to the development and preservation of Jazz and related art forms throughout the Borough of Brooklyn."
