Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar Make Homebrew Just Like Us
The L.A. transplants and stars of 'Extra Virgin' on Cooking Channel recently moved to Brooklyn; Corcos has already paid a visit to the Gowanus-based shop to create his own beer.

It's true what the celebrity magazines say: Stars really are just like us.
Further evidence of that fact was found Thursday morning when cooking show host Gabriele Corcos tweeted to his followers that he was at Homebrew, a beer-making shop in Gowanus, creating his own concoction.
"At Brooklyn Homebrew developing my own beer recipe. Fun!!!" tweeted Corcos, who recently move to Brooklyn with wife and actress Debi Mazar (Entourage, Goodfellas, Jungle Fever) and their children.

The L.A. transplants and stars of Extra Virgin on Cooking Channel have a reputation for doing things from scratch, be it restoring a family-owned farmhouse in Tuscany or making their own tomato sauce and pizza. So brewing beer at home seems the natural next, Brooklyn-inspired step.
No word on whether the brew or other local haunts will be featured in future episodes of Extra Virgin.Â
