Man Killed by Tractor Trailer on Flatbush at Atlantic

A 40-year-old man was struck and killed by a tractor trailer at the intersection of Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.

A preliminary investigation by the NYPD suggests that the man was hit while crossing in between cars, police said.   

The accident happened just before 12:29 p.m. and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. 

All involved remained at the scene to talk to the cops and the investigation is continuing, police said.
