Cobble Hill Music Store To Be Reborn As A 'RockScool'
After nearly 25 years in the neighborhood, the store is selling out its inventory of instruments and gear and becoming "RockScool."

COBBLE HILL, BROOKLYN — Musician's General Store, which has sold musical instruments and gear for over 20 years in the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill-area, is transitioning into a place for music lessons only.
Owners Mingo and Roseann Tull said they are making the change "based solely on our (Mingo & Roseann's) retirement from retail after 25 years of service to our beloved community."
And, they emphasize, "we are not closing or going anywhere!" Instead, the store will sell off all of its remaining inventory while changing to "RockScool," the announcement said.

To all our customers;
Effective immediately, Musician's General Store will be transitioning this location from a full service retail music store to "RockScool" — our music lessons and performance educational program.
This decision of change is based solely on our (Mingo & Roseann's) retirement from retail after 25 years of service to our beloved community.
To be clear, we are not closing or going anywhere!
We will soon be primarily focused on the development of skills and education for all styles and genres of music.
Please note that we will not be replacing inventory or placing any special orders of merchandise. Instead, will be selling off all of our existing products at significant discount prices.
Roseann and I are truly excited for the transition to RockScool and thank all of you for the 25 years of support!
As always, we'll see you in the hood!
