Vendors sold jewelry and toys, local restaurants sold food and drinks and kids bounced in the blow up castle or went on pony rides all while the house band of the Union Street Theatre played classic rock songs like the Stephen Stills hit "Love the One You're With."

The event was sponsored by the Carroll Gardens Association, which develops affordable housing and works in economic and career development with the local population.

Local elected officials Councilmember Brad Lander, Assemblywoman Joan Millman and District Leader Jo Anne Simon were also in attendance.
