Cab Driver Clocked By Enraged Driver
A cab driver was assaulted at the corner of Clinton Street and Hamilton Avenue last week, according to police. On Wednesday, April 25 at 8:55 p.m. the victim, 36, was driving his cab when he was cut off by a man in a black 4-door sedan. The two individuals then engaged into a verbal dispute until the driver of the sedan got out of his car, came over to the cab and punched the victim several times in head. Eugene Ohagan, 35, was arrested for assault, cops said.

Gucci Sunnies Missing From Maxima
A white 2009 Nissan Maxima parked on Luquer Street between Hicks Street and Hamilton Avenue had valuable contents stolen from it over the weekend, according to police sources. The 30-year-old owner said she left the car Friday, April 27, at 9:00 p.m. and when she returned to it on Saturday, April 28 at 5:40 p.m. a black iPod valued at $300, along with two pairs of Gucci sunglasses worth $450, were missing. No signs of forced entry were visible. There are no leads at this time, cops said.

Man Locked Up For Loaded Weapon
A man was arrested outside of 322 Van Brunt Street at the corner of Pioneer Street on Wednesday, April 25 at 8:50 p.m. Police Officer Brett Healy observed Rolando Vasquez, 45, drinking from an open container of alcohol. Upon approaching Vasquez, Officer Healy then noted there was a loaded 9-mm pistol on his waist and placed him under arrest. Vasquez was charged with possession of an open container and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
Crook Walks Away With Woman's Wallet at Trader Joe’s
A woman's wallet was stolen from her purse while shopping at , reported police. On April 25, at 10:30 a.m. the 33-year-old victim was buying groceries at the store at 130 Court Street and Atlantic Avenue, when she realized that an unknown individual had removed her wallet from her purse, which was slung over her shoulder. Four credit cards, a driver's license and $60 cash were stolen, cops said. There are no leads at this time.Â
Shattered Car Window on Hoyt Street
The rear door of a gold 2012 Toyota 4-door sedan parked on Hoyt Street had its window glass shattered a week ago. The victim, 53, told police she parked on Saturday, April 21, at 8:00 p.m. on Hoyt Street between Warren and Baltic Streets. She returned at 9:11 a.m. on Sunday, April 22 to find the window smashed. No items were taken, police said.Â
Rolling Pot Leads To Rap Sheet
Two young men on the corner of Wyckoff and Hoyt Streets were arrested and charged with criminal possession and unlawful possession of marijuana, cops said. On Monday, April 23 at 6:15 p.m. police observed two males, 18 and 17, respectively, rolling a marijuana cigarette. When searched, three additional Ziploc bags of marijuana were found on their persons, cops said.Â
