Rescue Kitty 'Grace Kelly' Needs a Home
They say every dog has its day—but what about the cats?

Welcome to Friday Feline, a recurring column in which we spotlight a local rescue in need of a home. If you're looking for a low-maintenance animal that has already received most of its immunizations and tests, this is the place for you.
This week's subject is: Grace Kelly
"Grace Kelly is a beautiful, sweet, tabby who is just as easy as pie.," said C. Corey, one of five founders of Brooklyn Animal Action who rescues felines and coordinates adoptions in Carroll Gardens. "She is not demanding, is so easy going, sweet and adores petting and cuddling. She is great with anyone, children and other kitties."

Some of Grace Kelly's many attributes include purring and warbling—she is affectionately referred to as the Motorboat by some of her foster's friends. She loves being pet and soft fur makes it a pleasure to oblige. She is both independent and enjoys human company.
Corey tells us that Grace Kelly loves food of all types, and is not a picky eater.

"She is even good at entertaining herself! She would be wonderful with children and loves sitting by a window for hours without disturbing anyone," said Corey. "It is even fun to watch her rub herself against furniture/feet/shoes/people/random objects! Check out this video and you will be convinced she is an awesome kitty!"
Grace Kelly was left behind when her humans moved.
"I can't imagine why anyone would leave such a diamond," said Corey. "This little girl deserves a new life with people who appreciate what an absolute easy kitty and angel she is. No one who meets her can walk away without falling in love."
She has tested neg for fiv/leuk. She is spayed and is up-to-date on her shots and microchipped.
