Wanted: Robber Who Struck Atlantic Ave. Bank

The NYPD are searching for a man who attempted to steal from Investors Bank on Monday.

 

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in location the following suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery within the confines of the 84 Precinct. Details are as follows.

On Monday, Jan. 28, at approximately 2:21 pm, a suspect entered Investors Bank, located at 399 Atlantic Avenue, and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller alerted a bank manager and the suspect fled the scene without any cash. But video footage did capture an image of him while he was still on the premises and now he is wanted by police.

The suspect is a male, white, in his 30s, approximately 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 11, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, police said. The subject was also described as wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and dark sneakers.
