Winter Clothing Drive, Lakeside Center Opening This Week

- Look for some more snow showers late Monday into Tuesday with warmer weather as the week progresses. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s by the end of the week.

- Join the Brooklyn Community Supported Art + Design (CSA+D) group in time for its first ever holiday pick-up Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. at 440 Gallery. Membership gives you access to unique, locally-made piece of art or design not available anywhere else this season.

- Dec. 18 is LIU Brooklyn Toastmasters Club's last meeting of the year and they celebrate it with a holiday party, Family Feud style, at 6 p.m.

- Tres Belle Spa hosts a winter clothing drive Thursday from 6-9 p.m. with a collection, champagne and even a raffle.

- The new Lefrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park finally opens this week. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday and facilities will be fully open to the public Friday.
