3 Fast-Moving Storms Target NYC: Latest Forecast

Fast winds and chances for snow and rain are in store for the Big Apple this week.

NEW YORK CITY — It's been a bitterly cold week in New York City so far, and it is going to get even colder as three fast-moving storms from Canada will sweep down through the city, according to the latest forecast.

On Tuesday night, the temperature will dip down to 35 degrees, with winds blowing 14 miles per hour making it feel even colder.

By Wednesday morning, there is an 80 percent chance of rain and snow, with winds moving up to 17 miles per hour, the National Weather Service has predicted. Though little to no snow accumulation is expected, this wintry mix could interrupt morning commutes.

The second chance for snow is over the weekend, the National Weather Service said. There is a 30 percent chance of snow Friday night, and another storm will follow Sunday night, according to the latest forecast.
