NEW YORK CITY — Though spring has just started, the weather this weekend is going to feel like summer — rainy and hot, forecasters said.
According to the National Weather Service, the warmest day of the year so far will be on Saturday with a high of 80 degrees, but then the city will cool back down to 60 degrees on Sunday, with rain showers and fog overnight on both Saturday and Sunday. Then, on Monday, expect rain showers and temperatures rising to 69 degrees.
Luckily for people looking to get outside this weekend, the rain should mostly stay in the overnight hours, forecasters said.

The temperature will be in sharp contrast to the city's climate earlier this week, where there were chances for snow and temperatures in the mid-30s.
