Snow, Single-Digit Wind Chills Target NYC, Forecasters Say

Here's the latest forecast.

NEW YORK CITY — After a windy and rainy President's Day weekend, another storm bringing freezing winds and chances for snow is expected to hit the New York City area on Thursday, forecasters said.

The week's temperatures are expected to stay below freezing until Friday, with wind chill values in the teens, according to the National Weather Service. On Thursday, the city could see a coating to an inch of snow, forecasters said.

However, forecasters seem to disagree about the likelihood of snow on Thursday. National Weather Service forecasters said there was a 30 percent chance of snow for Thursday, and that there would be very little snow accumulation, but AccuWeather forecasters said there is a 77 percent chance of snow.
