Best Places To Eat In Chelsea

The Next Time You're Looking For Somewhere To Eat In The Area, Stop By One Of These Restaurants.

Whether you live in the area or are just passing through on your way in/out of Penn Station, Chelsea, NY is filled with yummy restaurants that will fill your tummy, without emptying your pocket! The casual settings are perfect for a quick dinner before your train, or fun-filled meals & drinks before a night out with friends. There are so many restaurants in Manhattan, but when you’re in the Chelsea area and want to try a new place, these restaurants will offer great meals and great memories!

These pubs are perfect for a quick bite to eat in a very casual setting. Whether you choose to sit right at the bar, or grab a table with friends, they are the perfect place for cheap (but tasty) drinks and delicious comfort food. These pubs are always a mix of regulars (like me) and people passing through which makes for great conversations and lots of laughs. The Blarney Stone is located at 410 8th Ave Between 31st St. and 30th St. Maggie Reilly’s is located at 340 9th Ave Between 30th St. and 29th St.

2. Rooftop Dining
Local NYC & Rare

If you’re looking for something a bit nicer than a pub, one of these restaurants is perfect! It is still a casual setting, so you won’t feel out of place if you’ve been exploring all day and are grabbing something to eat before heading home. These restaurants offer dining inside, but if weather permits I recommend dining on the rooftop. There is nothing like a rooftop meal in NYC! These restaurants will require a bit more time to sit down and enjoy, and the drinks are a little bit more expensive than a pub, but they won’t leave your wallet crying. Whether dressed up or down, grab some friends and enjoy a city view and dining alfresco! The Local is located on the corner of 33rd & 8th. Rare is located at 152 West 26th St. Between 6th Ave. and 7th Ave.

3. Cultural Foods
Lucy’s Cantina Royale & Lugo Cucina Italiana

If you’re looking for more authentic and cultural food, try some yummy Italian or Mexican food that will leave you dreaming of when you can go back. Lucy’s is a fun Mexican restaurant right next door to Penn Station. The food is perfect for anyone who loves rich and flavorful cuisine and the happy hour drink specials can’t be beat! If you want something other than bar food, but your taste buds don’t quite mesh well with Mexican food, Italian is always a good idea! Whether you’re looking for a pasta dish or some good pizza, pair it with a glass of wine or two and you’re in for a treat! Lucy’s is located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza 34th St & 8th Ave. Lugo’s is also located at 1 Penn Plaza at 33rd St. towards 8th Ave.
