Tutu School exists to make space in the lives of children, 6 months to 8 years old, for creativity and joy. We do one thing – provide very young students with a magical introduction to ballet – and we focus all of our energy on doing that one thing in the highest quality manner possible. This means that every aspect of your child’s experience at Tutu School- from the sparkling spaces to the smiling faces – has been specifically tailored to the needs of even the tiniest dancers. Our carefully crafted curriculum was designed by dance professionals and developmental specialists to ensure that precisely the right amount of ballet technique is being introduced to students at exactly the right time, and not any earlier than their little bodies and young imaginations are ready for it. Importantly, our Tutu teachers receive thoughtful training in our curriculum and in the best ways to support young dancers, whatever their age, developmental stage, or level of experience. We believe in introducing students to ballet in a way that makes sense for their bodies and their development, but that also nurtures their creativity and love of music and movement. We want to cultivate an appreciation of the arts and to provide students with a solid technical foundation to study ballet more seriously later on (if they choose), but more importantly, to give them the kind of formative early enrichment experience that will serve them well in whatever dreams they follow later on.

AMT Theater is the brainchild of Producer Al Tapper ("Broadway: The Golden Age") and Artistic Director Tony Sportiello. The goal is to create a regional theater right in the heart of Manhattan's theater district; creating new shows and new musicals, doing children's theater, cabaret, festivals, readings, film and more. It is a haven for actors, writers, directors, technicians, stagehands and audiences, as we seek to create exciting new work and become an integral piece of the Broadway community. CHELSEA, NY — A brazen robber threatened a man with a simulated weapon in broad day light at a bustling Chelsea subway station, police said.The thief approached the 25-year-old victim at the 14th Street station on the 1 line Tuesday at 1 p.m. as the man was exiting the station, authorities said. The robber simulated a concealed weapon and demanded the man hand over his belongings. He grabbed the victim's cell phone, sunglasses and Metrocard worth an estimated $300 and fled the station, police said.Officials describe the man as in his 20s and was last seen wearing a black do-rag, a gray hoodie and a red shirt.
