CEOs of Ketchum, Lippe Taylor, and M Booth Headline PRSA-NY Summit

Second Annual Driving DEI Forward Summit will begin on Wednesday, June 15 and continue throughout the day on Thursday, June 16

PRSA-NY has announced its second annual Summit dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in public relations. The virtual event, “Driving DEI Forward in PR Campaigns, Workplaces, and Beyond,” will begin on Wednesday, June 15 and continue throughout the day on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Returning sponsors include Ketchum and M Booth.

The Summit will open with a special session featuring communications industry CEOs discussing approaches to DEI in the industry today. The panel titled"DEI in An Age of Employee Advocacy" will include Dale Bornstein (CEO, M Booth), Mike Doyle (CEO, Ketchum), and Paul Dyer (CEO, Lippe Taylor).

The first panelist Dale Bornstein is a passionate and accomplished integrated marketing specialist. After serving more than 25 years at Ketchum, Bornstein took the reins of M Booth and led the firm’s drive to integration and expansion, deepening and building new capabilities, and recruiting best-in-class talent, resulting in the agency’s most successful period of client acquisition and revenue growth. M Booth has won more than 50 industry awards since Bornstein joined the agency, and was recognized as one of the Top 3 Agencies of the Decade.

While Mike Doyle leads one of the world’s top communications consultancies, helping companies tell their stories, connect with the people they care about most, and use communications to inspire action. Doyle has helped Ketchum's clients launch products and services, merge or acquire new companies, navigate issues and crises and determine their purpose in an increasingly competitive, connected, and consumer-empowered global society. He is also the executive sponsor for Omnicom’s global OPEN Pride employee resource group and serves on the global Board of Directors for GLAAD, the world’s leading organization dedicated to accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ community.

The final panelist, Paul Dyer is the CEO of Lippe Taylor, an iconic digital marketing and PR firm. An expert in the technique of timing transformative trends, Dyer has played a central role in securing and directing more than $100 million of marketing consulting work at top companies throughout the past fifteen years, including Johnson & Johnson, Red Bull, Intel, Nike, Pfizer, Warner Bros, Verizon, and more.

The second annual “Driving DEI Forward in PR Campaigns, Workplaces, and Beyond” Summit is organized by members of the DEI Committee of the PRSA-NY Board of Directors: Rich Ferraro, Chief Communications Officer at GLAAD, the LGBTQ media advocacy organization; Rashidah Timothy, VP of media relations at Lippe Taylor; and Moon Kim, EVP of the Corporate practice at M Booth. Corinne Findlay, Account Executive at BCW Global, is also producing the Summit.
