Chelsea Bar To Host LGBTQ Bartending Competition
The gay sports bar Boxers Chelsea is hosting the first in a string of events leading up to the world's largest LGBTQ bartending competition.

CHELSEA, NY — The gay sports bar Boxers Chelsea is hosting the first in a series of LGBTQ bartending competitions on Wednesday evening. For more news from Chelsea, sign up for Patch news alerts here.
New York City bartenders will compete at the local bar on Wednesday night for a spot at Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic, the world's largest LGBTQ bartending competition.
"The Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic honors the unique legacy of LGBTQ bartenders within history and the role gay bars have played in the movement toward equality while celebrating the special place Key West has had for years as one of the LGBTQ community’s most popular destinations and original safe havens," according to the competition's organizers.
