CHELSEA, NY — After being closed for over a year due to building damage, The Donut Pub's doors at West 14th Street are wide open once more.

The beloved Chelsea eatery — a fixture in the community since its establishment in Dec. 1964 — was back in business as of 6 a.m. Monday, offering hot drinks, sandwiches, and specialty donuts, including Birthday Cake and Double Chocolate Dipper.

According to Eater New York, the shop was forced to close last year — for the first time since its grand opening — after the basement of a neighboring pizzeria collapsed.
