Duo Attempts To Break Into IDF Solidarity Dinner At Chelsea Piers
The men were issued summonses following the attempt to get into the FIDF dinner that Mayor Adams was slated to attend, police said.

CHELSEA, NY - Two men were charged after attempting to enter a private “Friends of the Israel Defense Forces” dinner that Mayor Eric Adams was slated to attend Tuesday night at Chelsea Piers.
A 31-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were taken into police custody and later released with criminal court summonses after the break-in attempt about 7:30 p.m., a NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
The charges were not immediately available.

The Pier 60 event was not listed on Adams’ calendar Tuesday until 3:30 p.m.; it was slashed from his availability less than two hours later following the addition of a Diwali celebration at Gracie Mansion.
