It's About That Time for a Watch Festival

A 3-day watch fair will bring purveyors of the time-telling mechanisms together on Oct. 21-23 in Chelsea Market.

CHELSEA, NY — Watch enthusiasts will want to attend an upcoming three-day festival of "watch culture" called Wind-Up Watch Fair in Chelsea Market. The fair will feature 30 watch and accessory brands, all showing a huge range of different watch designs — some start-ups, some large corporations, some vintage-inspired and some of futuristic design.

The event organizer calls the festival "the first and only watch fair of its kind; designed to bring watches, brands and fans together in a fun, approachable and engaging environment." The organizer is worn&wound, a company that features all things watches — news, reviews and commentary.

There will be several live activities at the fair, like a live painter exhibition of artists painting their own dials, a presentation by the CEO of watch company Mühle Glashutte, and special sales prices, according to the event description.
