Juul Thieves Pull Pepper Spray In Chelsea 7-Eleven Holdup: Cops
One robber allegedly brandished a can of pepper spray while another grabbed two vaping devices in the New Year's Eve robbery, police said.
CHELSEA, NY — A pair of robbers stole two vaping devices from a Chelsea 7-Eleven while allegedly threatening a clerk with pepper spray on New Year's Eve, police said.
The men held up the store at 246 W. 23rd St. around 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 31, the NYPD said. One of them pulled out a supposed can of pepper spray and demanded money from the register, according to police.
The other went behind the store's counter and grabbed cash and two Juul vaping devices, police said. The pair left with the Juuls but without the cash and fled west on 23rd Street, according to police.

No pepper spray was used in the theft and no one was hurt, police said.
Police are looking for the robbers, who were captured on surveillance video. They're described as men of unknown age.
