CHELSEA, NY - A 23-year-old woman was smacked in the face with a high heel shoe cap inside Grimaldi’s Restaurant in Chelsea last month, authorities said.

The victim was inside the Avenue of the Americas restaurant about 4 a.m. on Sept. 24 when she was approached by the assailant, who proceeded to strike the woman in the nose with the heel cap of a high heel shoe, police said.

Medics rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where she was treated for a laceration to the nose and listed in stable condition, police said.
