Lost Phone Search In Chelsea Prompts Knife Threat: NYPD
A knife was pulled on the victim, who pinged his lost cell phone to the assailant's location, police said.

CHELSEA, NY — A man was threatened with a knife in Chelsea after his lost phone was pinged to the assailant’s location, authorities said.
The victim had pinged his lost phone to the corner of 12 Avenue and West 33rd Street about 5 a.m. Thursday when the assailant pulled out a knife, police said.
The victim was not physically hurt in the incident, police said.
