Man Shot In The Head And Killed In Chelsea: Police
Anthony Holley, 44, was identified Wednesday as the man shot in the head and killed in front of 400 W. 17th St., police said.

CHELSEA, NY — A homeless man was shot in the head and killed in Chelsea, police said.
Anthony Holley, 44, was shot on Sunday about 10:34 p.m. in front of the Fulton Houses NYCHA housing development at 400 W. 17th St. (off the corner of Ninth Avenue).
Holley, who was named as the victim on Wednesday, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

NYPD gave Holley's address as a homeless shelter on East 30th street.
It is unclear what the circumstances were that led to Holley getting shot and killed.

The most recent Chelsea shooting comes two weeks after multiple people were shot in the neighborhood on Nov. 12.
The violence left three people injured and one person dead who was shot in front of the art gallery Lavan541 near West 25th Street and 11th Avenue, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing for what led to Holly getting shot.
