New York City Weekend Events: Here Is What's On Nov. 11-13

A comedy festival, a Veteran's Day Parade, and a rock concert are just some of the events taking place this weekend in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY — The month of November is fully upon us and while it is looking like rain is in the forecast this weekend, there is still plenty to do in New York City.

From watching the Rockefeller Christmas tree arrive to a vinyl record show in Queens, there are lots of options for those looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Saturday

Watch the Arrival of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree: Rockefeller Center, Manhattan

The 2022 Rockefeller Christmas tree was cut down on Thursday and it will now arrive at Rockefeller Center on Saturday.

It is arguably the most famous Christmas tree in the world and this gives you the chance to see it before its official lighting on Nov. 30.

Vinyl Revolution Record Show: Astoria, Queens

Vendors from all over the East Coast will head to the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden on Saturday to sell vinyl records.

There will be two rooms with over 55 deals selling thousands of vinyl records.

Admission costs just $5.

Sunday

Bronx Veterans Day Parade: Throggs Neck, Bronx

The annual Bronx Veterans Day Parade will kick off at 11 a.m. at the intersection of East Tremont and Lafayette Avenues.

This year's Grand Marshal is Throggs Neck resident and retired Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Watson.

Paramore at the Beacon Theater: Upper West Side of Manhattan

The world-famous rock band Paramore is gracing the stage at the Beacon Theater on Sunday.

Tickets are still available for the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

New York City Comedy Festival 2022: Venues across the city

The New York City Comedy Festival is taking place from Monday to Sunday across the city, including at the Apollo Theater, Beacon Theater, Lincoln Center, and more famous venues.

Headliners for the festival include John Mulaney, Wanda Sykes, Tracy Morgan, Jenny Slate, Shane Gillis, and JB Smoove.

Canstruction: Brookfield Place, Manhattan

Want to look at some strange art for a good cause?

Canstruction is coming to Brookfield Place on Saturday and Sunday for its 30th year, where you can check out the annual designs created by architects, engineers, and sculptures working to make art entirely out of unopened cans of food.

All of the money raised and unopened cans of food will be donated to City Harvest.
